Wild Futures at the London Vegfest 2013

Wild Futures London Group took on the responsibility of holding a stand at the London Vegfest to represent Wild Futures, creating a greater awareness of the charity and getting more people involved in our work.

Vegfest London took place over two days with more than 190 stalls over two floors aiming to promote a plant based diet, animal welfare and cruelty free products. This was the biggest event that the London Group, led by Luke Berman, has taken on since the group started.

Throughout the weekend they managed to speak to many people about the charity, getting hundreds of people to sign Wild Futures’ petition, to end the primate pet trade. The group also sold lots of ethical products from the Wild Futures shop.

Zoe Porrington from Wild Futures said: “‘The Wild Futures London Group did an amazing job for their first event.   They achieved a great deal and raised significant awareness of Wild Futures  which is invaluable. All of the  Wild Futures team are very grateful  to the volunteers and ambassadors that helped over the weekend and we look forward to hearing what they have planned next!”.
