Admission Tickets Terms and Conditions

Wild Futures Terms and Conditions for visiting The Monkey Sanctuary.

Although Covid-19 restrictions have eased, due to the vulnerability of the monkeys to Covid-19, and to protect our team, we are still opening in a limited way.

The welfare of the monkeys in our care is paramount and is as always our main priority. As long as the monkeys are vulnerable to this virus, we must be cautious, so we thank you for your understanding.

All visits to The Monkey Sanctuary must be booked in advance via our website. This way we can strictly limit the number of people around the monkeys to enable us to continue doing our best to keep them, and you, safe.

The wearing of face coverings is advised and preferable when around the monkey enclosures and in any indoor spaces. The monkeys remain vulnerable to Covid-19 and do not have the protection of vaccines. Therefore, we continue to do all that we can to limit their risk to the virus as well as to our team. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Please note that once you have made your payment you will receive a confirmation email.  Upon arrival, please show this email to a member of our team, who will book you in for your arrival time.

Bookings will be confirmed via e-mail to the e-mail address you specified. It is your responsibility to check the information you have supplied us is accurate. We are only able to issue bookings in accordance with the information you provide.

Bookings made are for entry to Wild Futures The Monkey Sanctuary, Murrayton House, St Martin, Looe, Cornwall PL13 1NZ

Bookings made are for the time and date specified on booking, and can only be used once.

Bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable.

In extreme circumstances, we may be forced to close. We will offer a new date for you to visit or refund the full price of the booking but Wild Futures reserves the right to that decision.

Bookings can be made up to 1 hour before your chosen time slot and must be purchased online in advance of your visit and cannot be purchased on arrival at The Monkey Sanctuary.

Bookings are subject to availability.

Bookings are made through a third party booking system Beyonk.com and payment received via Stripe.

The Monkey Sanctuary reserves the right to request proof of age to ensure the correct ticket type is purchased.

Access may be denied if you visit with tickets that are not valid for the right date and time.

Unfortunately we are unable to allow admittance to children under the age of 16 years without a full paying adult. Children under the age of 16 must be supervised by an adult at all times whilst at The Monkey Sanctuary.  Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Access queries: Please be aware that any guest visiting with a disability will be required to purchase the relevant adult or child admission ticket (online in advance) and are advised to look at our accessibility information and call us on 01503 262532 for further information.

Accessibility: Due to the natural setting of the site and the listed status of the main Sanctuary house, we are unable to provide full access to all areas of the site to wheelchair users and visitors with limited mobility. In certain areas, our paths are steep, sloping, and can be narrow, making some paths unsuitable for all types of wheelchairs.

Entry is half price for disabled visitors and free for their carer.

Dogs and assistance dogs: Unfortunately, we cannot allow dogs (including assistance dogs) into the main Monkey Sanctuary site. Please contact us in advance of your visit to make alternative arrangements in regards to assistance dogs, on 01503 262 532.

Gift Aid

Gift Aid Admission includes a 10% or more voluntary donation. Gift Aid Admissions let us reclaim tax on the whole amount paid – an extra 25% – a significant difference in helping us feed and care for our rescued monkeys.

Gift Aid donations must be supported by a valid Gift Aid declaration and a Gift Aid declaration can only cover donations made by an individual for themselves of their family.

You must be a UK taxpayer to participate in the Gift Aid scheme. You need to pay enough Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax in each tax year to cover the Gift Aid claimed on all your donations to charity otherwise you are responsible to pay any difference.

Visitor Membership Cards

Membership card (allowing re-entry to the Sanctuary) will be valid from date of purchase for the following 12 months. We do not offer refunds for tickets that are not redeemed.

The loss of the yearly membership cards given to the purchaser at the admissions desk at the Monkey Sanctuary will not be reissued. The membership card is non-transferable and should not be used by any other parties. We are not responsible if any membership card is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without your permission. We do not offer a refund for membership cards that are not used after first visit.
